Touch International Announces Transitional Strategy
TI offers price competitive and dependable resistive touch screen solutions.

AUSTIN, TEXAS - December 19, 2006- Touch International announced today that they are offering a transitional strategy to assist customers impacted by their competitor's end-of-life announcements. With more than 700 employees in six factories worldwide, TI is ramped up to manufacture industry compatible 4-wire, 5-wire, 8-wire, film-glass and film-film-polyester touch screen sensors.

"Resistive touch screens are one of Touch International's core technologies, especially because many of our staff members have worked for competing companies prior to TI's launch in 2002. TI is very knowledgeable about customer's needs and also understanding our competitor's capabilities... and limitations," says Michael Woolstrum, CEO of Touch International. "With our major competitor's end-of-life announcements, and a short window before they abandon their customers, TI is poised to offer price-competitive, compatible products with improvement options."

Touch International offers a standard array of resistive sensors, available on the website. In addition to the standard offerings, TI has the ability to create customer-specific resistive sensors to meet a broad spectrum of touch-enabled applications. Beyond standard film-glass and film-film glass sensors, Touch International's capabilities include laminating anti-reflective films, EMI shielding, glass bonding, and membrane switch/resistive touch screen combinations for extended environmental conditions.
