Anti-Reflective Coatings

Touch International applies multi-layer anti-reflective coatings to glass, plastic and film surfaces, dramatically reducing surface reflections and improving the brightness and contrast ratio by 3x. 

Anti-reflective coatings are used to prevent reflections from obscuring the display image and are used in many electronic displays.

Anti-Glare / Anti-Reflective Film

Working well in direct sunlight applications, Touch International’s anti-glare film /anti-reflective film (AG/AR) can be applied to glass and plastic substrates to reduce surface reflections and scatter specular reflections into a wide viewing cone. Anti-glare film also improves scratch resistance.

Anti-Glare filters add enhanced glare resistance to anti-reflective surfaces and are often used in many different kinds of displays.

EMI Shielding / Conductive Coatings

Defending against co-existing electrical systems or rogue RF signals, Touch International’s Low Ohm Indium Tin Oxide (ITO), EMI windows and blackened stainless steel mesh EMI shielding protects displays while providing high electrical isolation to eliminate signal interference. Ideal for medical equipment and military applications, our EMI/RFI filters can be tuned to specific frequencies and allow flat panel displays to satisfy FCC and MIL-STD-461E requirements.

ITO (Indium Tin Oxide) coatings provide shielding from various forms of atmospheric interference, including EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) and RFI (Radio Frequency Interference). This protection is useful in applications ranging from medical displays to instrument panels.

Privacy Filters

Touch International’s privacy filters are designed to keep personal information private by limiting the viewing angle of displays. Touch International offers two types of privacy technologiesblur privacy film which blurs the image when viewed from off center, and micro-louver privacy film which blackens the image when viewed from off center.

Touch International’s micro-louver and blur privacy filters can be used in touch screens, ATMs, medical displays and personal computer displays.
