Touch International would like to express its deepest sympathy and condolences to the victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
Our utmost concern has been for the safety of the associates and team members of our partner company, DMC Co. Ltd. The Fukushima and Shirakawa areas were immensely impacted however, we are thankful to announce that all employees and their families are safe.
Japan Operations
While DMC facilities did suffer property damage, they are still intact and stable. Due to the mass amount of damage in the surrounding areas, DMC Fukushima factory is not currently operational.
Touch International Operations
With less than 15% of TI components and products coming from the affected area, Touch International would like to reassure our customers that there will be minimal disruption to our production schedule.
Recovery Plan
A specialized task team has been established to develop and carry out a recovery plan. As of today, all current open orders and near-term deliveries have been secured.
We are currently in the process of assessing internal and external supply chain issues and will act on them as follows:
